Bench Dog Template
Bench Dog Template - I have the bench dog extension wing on my delta unisaw. I use 3/4 square bench dogs on my benches. The holes came out very clean and precise. Note i am also drilling 3/4 inch holes also. Be aware rockler doesn't carry it anymore. Probably not many bench dog pro lift owners here and likely fewer looking for the template guide insert for the older metal lift.
From there, several places have reducer inserts that will get you to zero or near zero clearance. You can see it in my gallery. Be aware rockler doesn't carry it anymore. Mainly because i already have money invested in several types of bench dogs. It is my lack of ability to create a template that is accurate enough so when i drill the holes, the parf dog system would work.

I Route The Grooves Across The Edges, And Then Put Extra Lengths Alongside To The Widen The Bench On Both Sides.

Just piddling around on a dreary evening so i thought i would work on a template/jig for drilling dog holes in a work bench.
